owari no seraph is interesting because the mangaka has managed to write a genuinely compelling and interesting love story between two guys, who have been reincarnated side by side over and over again; intertwined on a celestial level, jumping in at the risk of dying for one another and then has also like...tried to push in a token shounen romance but all this has done from what ive seen is create frustration and unintentional comedy, even moreso than it usually does
