the cheerleaders/dance squad when i was in marching band were so bad about it too. they would always rub my shoulders through my band uniform and call me pet names. it was WILD. so they were my age but most likely straight. to this day I don’t get it. is it because we’re safer? like if they flirt with a dude the assumption is that a guy’s gonna expect something but a lesbian probably won’t? idk man.

I mean it helps that i'm also attracted to older women and I definitely reciprocate there. But lesbians/bi women my age tend to look at me disdainfully but idk. it's always been that way, even when people assumed i was femme because i had long hair
