Practice day 10/100 Telling myself to jump like lightning because how else are you going to make a 4 octave jump at 128 bpm?

Practice day 8/100 Worked intensively on Pesson's speech of clouds and Liszt's J'eux d'eau today. Finally made progress on to the second page of Pesson while the first page is beginning to sound like charming stratospheric crystals. There's a section in the piece where you have to play real soft (PPPP) so that the hammers don't hit the strings, yet the dampers get off and produce kind of far away harpsichord sound. @pianononsense we all know how much you root french composers and I root them too just so you know

Practice challenge day 3/100 Today's menu: Liszt's Jeux d'eau and Pesson's Speech of clouds. Managed to read through Liszt and get a good overview of the piece's structure. Aiming to have it memorized by the end of the week so that I can work on connecting the sections fluidly. Just started learning Pesson and I spent atleast two hours just writing and erasing fingerings...

Received post today! The only time I order music off the store is 1)when a library near me does not have it 2) when a friend/teacher does not have it I am happy this arrived!! :) [thats a bag of peanuts)
