Nerdy-syringes talks
When you're in a 3rd world country with no drugs, sober and have nothing to do. So ya reply to silly comments on tumblr while you, drink inka-cola, watch sweaty men build shit for you, think about the money you'll be making, and the fun you'll be having clubbing later
Sorry for the lack of posts lately! Been super busy. Any suggestions on what I should post tomorrow? Thinking Chinese art/artifacts or traditional costumes of Europe or more pre-Islamic Arabic stuff but let me know if you have suggestions.
Conjunto Cacique - Playing (1977)
Described as Peruvian Afro-funk, there’s some dispute about where they were actually from. A description: "Jumping from musical styles like a child at play" The harmonies on the “rock part” sound like Jefferson Airplane or maybe X, then its on to a cuban groove and back again.

Loren Bueller's Day Off.
I had a pretty good time last night. Shared the last of my stash with some good friends who live in a district nearby, and we didn't exactly party but drank and blew until the sun came up talking about all kinds of shit. Caught a cab back to the hostel, talked some more with another friend until very late in the morning.
I woke up at 4pm, then 5pm, then 6pm and finally got out of bed. I decided today I'm going to go get some Chinese food at "Jackie Chan's Fried Chicken", which is actually a fantastic and cheap Chinese restaurant that just has a stupid name. Then I will go to the skatepark, which I've been wanting to do for a while now but I've been working most days/nights.
There are more unpublishable details creating an internal conflict for me regarding my decision to stay and take the bartending gig a few months further or to pick up, pack out and keep floating, heading home via my original return flight in early February. If I do split from La Paz, now is the time to do it. Tomorrow morning, specifically. Monday morning is perfect regarding proper check out and bar shift scheduling, as well as catching the right buses.
But I have no one to go with. It would be my first time truly traveling alone since I took the plane to South America. But that's okay. I just have to look after my shit and drop a Valium or four. Well, I have some things to think about and some skating to do. More to come. Over n' out.
