I’m uncultured as fuck

My exposure to pop culture has been very limited bc of my controlling parents, lack of time, and own cowardice. This has made socializing and excelling in my career very difficult so this summer I’m going to change that!

I’m going to be compiling a list of movies, tv shows and other media to watch this summer and I need help. Send me things I need to watch!!!

What I’m looking for:

live action movies with good cinematography

well done adaptions (i won't be reading the book so if the movie is good send it over)

short films

documentaries (preferably on sciences or LGBT issues)

older cartoons (i wasn't allowed to watch CN so let me have a childhood at 20)

musical soundtracks (anything but Hamilton)

ANYTHING THIAT YOU FEEL IS IMPORTANT FOR SOMEONE TO HAVE SEEN BY NOW (If you feel you have to say “OMG YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THIS?????” I probably haven’t seen it so hmu)

What not to send:

anything extremely graphic (so nothing too violent and no sex scenes, action and suggestive stuff is ok just nothing explicit)

abuse-centric plot lines (personal trigger of mine)

MOVIES OR TV SHOWS THAT ARE VERY LONG/SLOW PACED (I’m on a time limit and I need to try my best to get to everything so If you send me something too lengthy I won't get to it)

I MAY NOT GET TO EVERYTHING DEPENDING ON HOW MANY OF YOU SEND ME THINGS BUT DON’T BE AFRAID SO SEND ME A SUGGESTION!!! MY INBOX IS ALWAYS OPEN!!

I do tarot readings 😌. Reasonably priced as well (7-30$). I currently have 8 different readings to choose from. All types of criticism is welcomed as long as it’s constructive (I don’t mind if you didn’t like it or relate, just tell me why and I can improve).
