Did you consider that with the new year, perhaps it is more important to prune things from your life than to add activities to your life? Perhaps more valuable to set Godly boundaries than to over-exert yourself with the chance of a burnout.
There is a book "Be Pruned: To Bear Fruit that Will Last" by James F Gauss, Ph.D., that I hope will shed some light on this topic of Biblical pruning in our life. I'll share insight as I work through the book. While there is some value to exercise, there are other things that are far more important for us to be focused on.
"For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come." 1 Timothy 4:8, NIV
Let's examine our new year's resolutions, and bend them towards godliness and not 'just' physical training. From riskaday.org
