If you have a tree full of persimmons, or a friend with a tree full of persimmons, or a neighbor or an acquaintance or coworker with a tree full of persimmons--

make jam. It is so simple. It takes an hour tops. You can sterilize jars to pack it in and send it to everyone you know. For extra fall taste, add cinnamon and nutmeg to take it from persimmon to persimminnamon jam. As Chappel Roan would say, it's a persimmonenomenon.

6 peeled pureed persimmons, 1/4 cup sugar, 2tbsp water to dissolve 1tbsp corn starch, and lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg to taste :)
