❤ (Chiyo to Perry) (punches a wall and adds +1 pairing any 2 characters of ours of your choice)
(( YOU ONLY GET ONE. ))
You approach this imposter with a snarl on your face, ready to launch yourself at him. How dare he? How fucking dare he!? He hurt her. He’s caused her so much pain.
"Ah, my little knight, it seems like I’ll have to retract that order. Instead, I want you to defend me." This bastard is grinning at you. You wish you could have strangled his throat right then and there, but you hear shuffling of sorts.
Perry, the jouster you knew from the beginning, brokenly shuffles over between you two.Â
You plead for her to stop. After all, you can’t do anything to your friend. You can’t hurt her even if it means you can pound the other’s face in.Â
She falters, but the male quickly snaps at her, angered that she didn’t heed his command.Â
"If you can’t do it, I’ll get rid of him myself." He pulls out a sword from the sheath attached to his waist.Â
It’s all happening too fast.
"DON’T!" The former jouster screams. Her one arm reaches out and…
What do you do?
> Save her.
> Don’t save her.
She tackles you to the ground. The blade barely misses you both.Â
That’s when you hear the sirens. Your call had gone through, and they’ve finally arrived.
The prince curses and makes a mad run for it.
You wish you could have chased him, but you have more important matters on hand. The girl is dying right before you.
Through labored breaths, she gives you a pained smile, relieved that you are safe.
She passes out.
Days later, you visit her in the hospital. She’s still weak and battered, but she remains strong underneath her haggard appearance.
She sees you and smiles. “Hello there. Thou has caught me in the middle of my thoughts. I was thinking about what I should be called now.”
What do you do?
> “Perry.”
> “Princess.”
> “That’s up to you.”
She pauses before nodding, her eyes twinkling in delight. “Then, how about Penelope? I have always liked that name.”
It’s perfect because it seems to make her happy. That’s all that matters.
"Oh, before I forget. Sir Chiyo? I don’t believe I ever got to show my gratitude. I thank thee for… so much. Most of all, I thank thee for saving me, my precious hero."
