You approach this imposter with a snarl on your face, ready to launch yourself at him. How dare he? How fucking dare he!? He hurt her. Heās caused her so much pain.
"Ah, my little knight, it seems like Iāll have to retract that order. Instead, I want you to defend me." This bastard is grinning at you. You wish you could have strangled his throat right then and there, but you hear shuffling of sorts.
Perry, the jouster you knew from the beginning, brokenly shuffles over between you two.Ā
You plead for her to stop. After all, you canāt do anything to your friend. You canāt hurt her even if it means you can pound the otherās face in.Ā

"If you canāt do it, Iāll get rid of him myself." He pulls out a sword from the sheath attached to his waist.Ā

The prince curses and makes a mad run for it.
You wish you could have chased him, but you have more important matters on hand. The girl is dying right before you.
Through labored breaths, she gives you a pained smile, relieved that you are safe.
She passes out.
Days later, you visit her in the hospital. Sheās still weak and battered, but she remains strong underneath her haggard appearance.
She sees you and smiles. āHello there. Thou has caught me in the middle of my thoughts. I was thinking about what I should be called now.ā
What do you do?
> āPerry.ā
> āPrincess.ā
> āThatās up to you.ā
She pauses before nodding, her eyes twinkling in delight. āThen, how about Penelope? I have always liked that name.ā
Itās perfect because it seems to make her happy. Thatās all that matters.
"Oh, before I forget. Sir Chiyo? I donāt believe I ever got to show my gratitude. I thank thee for⦠so much. Most of all, I thank thee for saving me, my precious hero."
