I’m quite sure that you’re the first to have

(As I write this, I must admit that I am devastated by the fact that this is the message’s

second

‘incarnation’, as it were. I wrote out an absolute 

tome

before, and just when I got to the annotation above the “Read More” break to warn you about the impending 

War and Peace

that would follow, I hit Ctrl+W rather than Shift+W, closing the tab and - insofar as my knowledge permits - irretrievably erasing the message that I had written. A Jacobean drama, really :P)

The choice, then remains: to attempt a re-creation of the message that 

was, 

or to fashion anew a means by which to address your enquiry, which is indeed, most compelling :)

Hmm… the thing about which I am most proud. 

I have been told that I often focus on the lives, interests, and issues of those aside from myself, which leads to an absence of personal examination, and inherently, perhaps a lack of sharing my thoughts with others. In that light, such an exercise as this, I hope, shall be enlightening for you in terms of answering to the topic at hand, and… beneficial (? - for want of a better word) to me in terms of introspective exploration. 

On the note of a ‘better word’ - I have always been proud of being afforded the privilege of exposure to literature - both fictional and ‘factual’ - during my youth, and the freedom granted me to embrace all things logical and wonderful in the world; a sense of curiosity and interest in a wide range of areas (which some may argue is intrinsically ‘human’). 

In my original message, it was at this juncture that a rather great digression into global issues arose, pertaining to how grateful one should be to have existed in a society without being subjected to persecution or censorship of their development, and how my digression into such matters was not intended to dampen the perhaps light-hearted nature of your enquiry. I must ask for your forgiveness if my efforts to explain myself are of equal detriment to the original content which I have described. 

Nonetheless, mentioning such social issues is a product of 

a) 

the constant reminders that one receives regarding the inequality that exists between social and cultural groups worldwide, 

and b)

 philosophical questions such as ‘what rights do all children have?’ or ‘is global equality possible?’ and given that this message is mostly written as a stream of consciousness, such themes are playing in the back of my mind as I contemplate my ‘education’ 

Alas, I digress. 

[In here, I recall a story about how - and I know, this defeats the purpose of the preceding statement, because it’s essentially another digression - I have a habit of writing tangentially: during high-school Biology, I remember writing an in-class essay about GM crops which was overshadowed by my then-recent reading (out of curiosity during Study period) of the Communist Manifesto]

However, I shall return to my attempt at ‘talking’ on topic:

perhaps) and the ability of creative expression to enable engagement with the world and people around us. 

I’m proud that I am able to learn, and to continue learning, each and every day. There are so many concepts out there that I am yet to to comprehend; so many wonderful experiences I am yet to have; and I endeavour to keep discovering. 

In essence, this is the thing of which I am most proud: my perpetual [hehe ^_^] and 

passionate curiosity

(as Einstein is famously quoted) which has helped me to fill my head with a great multitude of thoughts :)

The consequence of such thoughts and exposure (although, one could argue, the case is not 

always

) to literature and to life is my verbosity, for which, as always, I apologise >.<

In my original message, I composed a rather well-phrased comment on how I don’t wish to engage more of your time than is enjoyable for such a purpose as that of reading, but clearly, I am presently at a loss. 

On the note of time, and furthermore, on that of digressions - it would be rather easy to transgress into writing at great length about time as a human construct, the concept of time as it might be perceived across the universe, and the effects that Physics prescribes upon time with regard to the speed of light and relativity, would it not? :)

You know better than most the extent of my verbosity, and so I shall bring this *re-constructed* message to a close.
