I actually really like it. 

The pair is absolutely hilarious together, but then they’ve got each other’s backs and stuff. 

The fandom actually includes this couple in a lot of their long length fanfictions, and they’re portrayed rather accurately. Often, people have Sumire and Koko teasing each other in a strangely cute flirtatious way. Like Koko says something dumb, Sumire teases back by over reacting, then he says something cute to fix it all and more cute stuff ensues. 

Then there’s the serious couple aspects too. I have this head cannon where during the Alice War toward the end of the manga (Like when they were taking down the ESP and his cronies for those of you who don’t know) Sumire and Koko were nearly inseparable. Koko would try to protect Sumire, but then she’d protect him right back and they’d hold onto each other and try to stay safe as best they could.

Overall, I think this couple is slightly under appreciated. If I could draw, I would draw so much fanart.
