Is #fairyfriday a thing? It should be! But what about a #flashbackfriday?? Do we remember that brief moment in time I cosplayed Periwinkle?! . . . Debuted during March Comic Con 2019, Peri was part of a group cosplay and I basically hated every minute of it. Not the group - they’re the loveliest humans! But I didn’t enjoy making this cosplay, I didn’t enjoy wearing it, I didn’t enjoy any of the photos from afterwards. In many of the photos from the day, I have mad crazy eyes - where you can see the discomfort and panic in my expression from being so uncomfortable. It was my first time making pants, and I wasn’t wearing a proper bra, just a corset, and I felt like I was going to fall out the whole time! Also, my hair started falling out of Peri’s gravity-defying style. Needless to say, I changed out of her pretty quickly. . . . As frustrating an experience it was, I’m glad to have had the opportunity to try something new and scary! Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but it’s always a learning experience. . . .
