Pecan Sandies are buttery, nutty, and crumbly cookies ideal for any occasion. The combination of pecans and buttery goodness results in a delectable treat that will satisfy your sweet tooth.
Ingredients: 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup powdered sugar. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 cup finely chopped pecans. 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Warm your oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Put the softened butter and powdered sugar in a large bowl and mix them together until they are light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Add the all-purpose flour and salt to the butter mixture slowly while mixing it in. Add the chopped pecans and mix them in until they are spread out evenly in the dough. Mix the dough together and roll it into 1-inch balls. Place the balls on the baking sheet that has been prepared. With the bottom of a glass or a fork, gently press each ball down. Put the cookies in an oven that has already been heated for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. If you want, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on the cookies after they have cooled. Have fun with your tasty Pecan Sandies!
