Perfect CV
Well truth story to be told. I have submitted my CV last month to like what, more than 10 companies in Malaysia to do an intern for next January. None of them replied. Positively thinking that they might need interns ASAP and another side of me thinks that I need to modify my CV. So here are some tips I gained from a website (engineering.com).
Know the target company (do some researches on the company, understand the company's values, mission, their strategic direction and over-riding goals and objectives)
Think outside the box (focus on the modules you have learned during your degree, master or phd. State how are you gonna be exceled in the work made available by the company by applying what was learned)
Work for that specific company, show your interest (for example, state there you are wiling to work for the company at minimum wage and re-apply for the position available with the experience you have gained)
Give the employer a compelling reason to read on, your CV (the first few words on the CV should be worth the reading and capture the employer's interest to read the rest)
