#perfect headcanons

Head cannons regarding "rules" around the ministry, because I just started writing something relevant to it. Rain - Follows the rules in general, because he doesn't like the way Papa looks at him when he's disappointed. However, tends to encourage other people's bad behavior in a big way. And will join in if he can guarantee he won't get caught (aka: when he has someone else to pin it on). Mountain - follows the rules, not because they're "rules" but because they're common sense, and why can't the rest of you just act...normal for once? Why are you eating drywall? It isn't FOOD. Aether - situation dependent. Tries to keep Dew and Swiss from doing anything too terrible. Usually ends up getting blamed for their stupidity. Always in the wrong place at the wrong time. Will do anything Cumulus asks him to do, regardless of legality. Cirrus - Unaware of rules. Does not give a single fuck one way or another. Does whatever she wants. Doesn't understand why so many of the other Ghouls are getting disciplined by Papa. What do you mean there are "rules?" What rules? I've never heard of any rules. Cumulus - Never breaks a rule. Gets everyone else to do it for her. Does she want something that goes against Papa's orders? That's fine, Aether or Rain will get it for her. All she has to do is ask. Sunshine - Breaks every rule. No one ever notices. Never gets in trouble. No one even suspects her (except Dew, Dew knows, but they're chaos twins. They protect each other). Dew - Breaks every rule on principle. Does not believe in rules. Everyone notices. Somehow still NEVER gets in trouble. He says it's his charm. Everyone else says it's because he disappears before the dust settles and leaves someone else (Aether) to take the blame. Swiss - "Tries" to follow rules. Fails. Breaks every rule. Gets in trouble. Every. Single. Time. Does it repeatedly anyway. Papa just shakes his head at him when he shows up in his office, and doesn't even bother to reprimand him anymore. They just sit and chat until it's been long enough that Sister actually thinks Papa disciplined him. Swiss is very good at pretending to look like he's just been yelled at.

Messia makes me think of Tim from The Willoughbys. I imagine that despite acting all uptight about Juno’s rules, she’s actually very protective of her brother and sisters, and unbeknownst to the other siblings, usually takes the blame for the others’ behavior. “I should’ve kept a better eye on them. It’s my fault.” I imagine her getting a similar punishment to Tim’s (him being locked in the coal bin).

Listen : Mulder and Scully argue or fight over a creature being real or not, and then when it’s proven that it’s actually not real and Mulder is disappointed Scully hugs him to comfort him. Facts.
