#perfect bar

Our newest find this week was the Perfect Bar- the original refrigerated protein bar- with a peanut butter coconut flavor. So far in the creation of our association there has been some not so pleasant protein bars we have had the misfortune of tasting. However this bar seemed the exception of our usual bad luck. Join me judge Jelly as we explore the appearance, taste, texture, and overall judgement of the peanut butter coconut Perfect Bar. 

One of my favorite combos: peanut butter and chocolate. Was curious ever since I first saw these, and finally managed to nab one. Interesting note about the packaging: the little peanut (or sometimes almond) image is actually see-through on the wrapper, so what you see under it is the actual food product. 

I expected it to be kind of like cookie dough, and I was right. Literally a cold bar of peanut butter with chocolate chips, what could possibly be wrong with that?! It’s meant to be stored in the fridge, and I had to keep mine at room temperature for at least an hour due to extenuating circumstances, so it was a little melty by the time I ate it. Even then, it was delicious. I really want another one right now. 

Checked the website to see all available types/flavors, and their website was very White-people-w-big-families-in-fuzzy-vests type of deal. I don/t even know if they were actually wearing those fuzzy vests but that’s the impression I was left with. Also each bar is almost $3 which is not worth it, but it’s about as easy to take as a protein bar if you don’t have to keep it un-refrigerated for too long.
