Starter for Percy
Cullen swallowed hard as he cooked.
He wasn’t usually like this. He is usually quick and swift in the kitchen. Always know what he should do next, always knew what and how to execute a task. If there was one place that he could be most confident in, it would be the kitchen.
But now, he could feel his palm sweating.
“...So, uh, how’s the book you were reading?” Cullen asked, tried to make a conversation, his voice filled with a hint of nervous but he felt the need to fill the air with conversation. “You know, I can always just bring the food to your room, Percy. You don’t have to come down all this way to keep me company while I cook.”
He carefully peeked toward the man, watched the handsome librarian and that damn strong and masculine jawline. He took a sharp breath the moment their eyes met, he quickly shifted his gaze away and focused on the chopping board. Only there was nothing on the chopping board.
“...I- I like your company, though. I...I appreciate you being here. Really, sincerely.” Was he blushing? Dammit, Cullen. Get yourself back together.Â
