Perception filters have been mentioned a lot this season which leads me to believe that a perception filter is going to play a big role in the finale. Perhaps with Mrs. Flood.

I loved the moment in the new episode where Beep the Meep decided to stop pretending to be cute and nice and pulled out the gun.
The way the Septics get away with all having the same face in their city is by Clark Kent’s Glasses Effect: they just put something on their face/head and they look like a completely different person.
Jackieboy and Marvin have masks, Schneep has his glasses, Chase and JJ have hats and it gives them a beautiful perception filter. They do have a fun time messing with some of the stupid-oblivious citizens, though, especially Jackie XD
Jackie: *puts on Henrik’s glasses as a joke*
Civilian: Dr. Schneeplestein, heeey! I’ve never seen you in plain clothes before! Who’s your friend here? A coworker?
Jackie: Oh, hello! *strikes up a conversation, faking his accent perfectly*
Henrik, standing next to him in his same lab coat and scrubs, completely ignored: This person’s been my patient for eight years......
~
Villain: *chasing Jackieboy Man*
Jackieboy: *spots Chase* Bro, put on my mask
Chase: Sure, dude *runs out*
Villain: How’d he change outta the suit so fast?! *chases Chase*
Jackie: *tackles him sideways* Lol hi there I’m a random citizen making a citizen’s arrest :D
Villain: Nooo
~
Jackie: *comes to pick up Chase’s kids for him*
Stacy: Okay, Chase, you better do well with them today, you better *goes on a lecture about all the things he needs to do*
Chase’s kids: *definitely know it’s not their dad* Hi, Daddy :3
Jackie: ;)
I feel like if Simm!Master or any Master tbh heard Bill call the Doctor Grandfather and the Doctor answer to it he’d realize that messing with Bill would be the last thing to do if he didn’t want the Doctor to come after them with everything they had.
I’m not saying that Simm!Master fucked up his future versions chances at the Doctor ever wanting to stand with them, but that’s exactly what he did.
I know you all have the same face but does anyone pull it off better than the rest?
“I have a feeling all of us are going to answer for ourselves, but as we’ve developed, all of us have kind of changed. We usually compare ourselves to our creators, not to each other, so if we’re going by who looks the most like Jack, Chase and Jackieboy pull it off best.”

Just watched the new episode of Doctor Who, the Star Beast!
I really enjoyed the episode! I have a lot of thoughts about things
The specific way they handled gender stuff was very clunky, but it has a strong core direction. Like, the "What are the Meep's pronouns" scene is very awkwardly written, but from that point onwards nobody misgenders the Meep anymore. They always say "The Meep", and they don't make a big deal about doing so.
And having a transgender person save the day is great - I just wish some of those scenes were written slightly better. Like, the bit where "only people who aren't male can solve the metacrisis" and Rose and Donna both do it? Cool idea, like affirming Rose's gender within the narrative. But the way they phrase it with the doctor is very very bad.
I love the heck out of the meep. Such a fun character, and realised so incredibly well. And the Wrath being so comic-book-designy is great.
The story was goofy! Love a good goofy story! It's exactly what I want out of an anniversary episode: something that doesn't take itself too seriously.
I was worried that the DoctorDonna stuff was going to take over the narrative. And to a certain extent it did - it was absolutely crucial for the entire plot! It wasn't overly much, I don't think? I don't know if I like that they're just jumping back to 2009, and ultimately it's going to depend: if the next 2 episodes can do more than just being Nostalgic for 2009™ then I'll be happy with it, but if they don't do more then I'm going to be disappointed.
It’s apparent that the Inspector used some sort of perception filter to disguise his Arabian features and skin colour.
Otherwise, the others in attendance would have taken him for a Saracen and likely killed him on the spot.
