I'm gonna pick three characters at random for thiiis Iska, Perry, and Tsagani. If they had to pick a different character class, what would they be?
Iska: Wizard, she’s a complete fucking nerd and that never changes no matter what. Likely Evocation or Divination for her school.
Perry: Paladiiiiinnn. Oath of Devotion or Oath of Vengeance. There’s a lot of righteous fury trapped inside her tiny body and frankly the visual of a tiny mouse night is something I can’t resist. Especially with regard to what her name references gshdjf
Tsagani: Also a wizard! But def an Invention school wizard. THAT. Or a Constellation Druid. V big thing in her clan she nearly picked up. She’d be very good at it.
What are three pros and cons of datiiing Perry?
Pros -
1. Would you like potentially the best baker and cook you’ve ever met in your life to just make food for you every day? Peraux will do that. She’ll always take care of you and take note of what your favorite tastes are to cater to them. Catch her staying up late to try and prep everything or fussing over the details because she wants whatever she offers to be as perfect as possible.
2. Extremely supportive of pretty much all your endeavors and efforts, be they for a career or a hobby. Y’know, so long as they aren’t evil. Even if she doesn’t have the know-how or skillset to help you out with what you’re pursuing, you’ll always have a little cheerleader on your team.
3. Peraux will revolutionize your opinion on camping and being out in nature. She knows how to make the woods feel cozy and calm, and a benefit that goes alongside this is that she’ll happily teach you all sorts of things while out there. Also she knows how to speak to forest critters since she’s a mousefolk, so you more or less get a disney princess crossed with Bear Grylls.
Cons -
1. She is extremely reckless and impulsive, both with general decision making and in regards to her own well-being. Dating her would be pretty stressful if you can’t handle someone who wants to be the hero and doesn’t really care about the pain that might cause her.
2. I mean, she’s 2 and a half feet tall and an anthropomorphic deer mouse. Unless you’re pretty cool with that and/or roughly the same size, someone will need Polymorph. Especially for any sort of physical intimacy.
3. She has a hell of a temper under her niceness and can easily get snippy if she’s in a bad mood. Any argument with her would be Big and dramatic and emotional. And emotionally draining.
What is Peraux's greatest fear?
Becoming the same type of person as those that she tries to stop. Turning into the bad guy is something that genuinely scares her a lot, since you can have all the good intentions in the world and still slip into doing awful things because there’s a justification to lean on.
Outside of that, I think she also has a real fear of just being directionless? Perry is always quietly worried that she’ll find something that makes her have to pick up and leave Trinity City, be it internal corruption or a realization she doesn’t actually enjoy what she’s doing. The latter hasn’t ever come close to happening, but she was sort of plagued by not knowing what the hell to do with her life for a long while.

1: What’s your OC’s biggest insecurity and how would they react if someone pointed it out to them?
Her size, mostly. She’s acutely aware of how tiny she is even in comparison to goblins and the places she worked at before struggled to take her even half-seriously as an adventurer. She gets very defensive whenever someone brings it up; it’s one of the things that can instantly make her angry and temperamental.
19: What boosts your OC’s confidence the most?
Finding situations where she can use her skillset to her advantage and just nailing everything about it. And knowing that she’s helping people or her teammates while doing so. Being able to fully take charge of a situation is a close second, since she struggles with thinking of herself as somebody truly in command of things or as a leader. Having a scenario where there’s positive affirmation that she’s capable is just Real Good.
29: How does your OC behave on the face of a conflict?
Physical conflict? She’s protective, jumping to the side of whoever she’s supporting and pointing an arrow at the face of whoever she’s not. Verbal or emotional? That’s a bit harder; she’s impulsive with the words she says and is quick to try and do a rapid-fire takedown of whoever she’s fighting with, which can lead to some kinda nasty things that are said and lots of hurt feelings. Perry has a short temper and gets angry fast, which unfortunately is paired with a stubborn tendency to not like apologizing. Admitting she’s wrong and losing ground sucks a lot and she hates it, thanks!

She’s fucking excellent at it, actually. Both cooking and baking are her favorite hobbies outside of her adventurer-related ones. Portions for bigger people are a struggle sometimes though, but she can manage.
🍻 - tolerating alcohol
Better than you’d think for a 2 ft tall mouse, but she’s still tiny. Watch her, she’s a fighty drunk and needs to be supervised lMAO
😓 - acknowledging mistakes
Much much MUCH better than she used to be. Peraux tries to be as diligent as she can with knowing when she’s made mistakes and trying to fix them, even if internally her pride might be a bit bruised. It’s sort of a personal moral duty for her after discovering all the awful corruption in the first guild she joined.
⅀ and give me a peraux
Sometimes you’ve got the drive of a legendary hero but you live in a small town, in a small body, and have really bad impulse control. Sometimes you leave home to make it in the nearby city because that’s what the stories all say people do! Sometimes you realize lots of people are in this business just to make money. Sometimes you say fuck it and start wandering towards a walking city that may or may not exist because you read enough fantasy stories to believe nothing can go wrong with that and nothing bad can happen to you!
Mothpaw/Mothfire and Peraux are variations on the same character in different worlds but I’m always so interested at how their classes split off due to changes in environmental factors. And like...their mindset differences.
Moth is a barbarian always. Always. Her story plays into feeding the anger and genuine righteous fury she gains as a kid. Moth is an underdog with something to prove and a lot of spite in her heart from loss. She ends up a full Zealot Barbarian and much more rough around the edges than her Paladin mom. Battered, a bit cynical, but self-assured in her belief that a crooked system can be changed for the better.
Peraux the mousefolk, though? Sure, she faces the same kind of hurts and prejudice that feeds into p much all her storylines, but with a community to fall back on she’s stabilized. And she has an outlet that adds to her skillset. Peraux is a Survivalist Fighter who keeps her optimistic attitude. Hopepunk. Sunshiney and full of honor in a world that needs it. Reckless and still boasting a temper like Every Version Of Her but mostly turning the latter on those who deserve it.
