I told myself when I first joined Cohost that I would try to do more longform stuff with it. However, The Anxieties got hold of me and I never actually managed to do that before Cohost tragically died; so here we are on tumblr, I suppose. There's 10 days until Christmas, so fuck it! Top 10 list, baby! Let's start with the only game in my list I don't have to try and say anything smart about.

The thing I appreciate about Pepper Grinder is that it does exactly what it shows on the tin. It's a delightful momentum-platformer where you drill through various surfaces that are lovingly created in a gorgeous pixel art style, beat up some (mostly) really fun and challenging bosses, and tap your foot to the catchy soundtrack. It took me about 3 hours to beat, and that's kind of all there is to it. And honestly I'm pretty thankful for that. It's just a really nice time!
