Elkins wins
The positives first, I guess. Darren Elkins fought his fight. It was ugly it was effective and it was truly the same old, same old. There's nothing wrong with that because this is a sport of Ws and Ls. At the same time, I don't think there's anything wrong with acknowledging that there's a reason Darren Elkins has never won a bonus in the UFC and that's likely to continue. There's a reason he has one finish in the UFC despite fighting in the organization for six years.
As for Pepey? His continuation of pulling guard revealed he's still got a LONG way to go. Not the only lapse in judgement either when you throw in a wild go nowhere spinning back kick attempt that had NO chance and the illegal knee. Also deliberately poked Elkins in the eye a few times as well.
