a.k.a me wanting to make a frieren-coded LU fic
ya know, i was just thinking. as a woman who really loves her female friends and is also physically affectionate with them, i feel like iβd go kinda crazy around the chain after a while
like, love the boys. theyβre great, respectful people. but man, iβd miss my female company
you and π°π’π§π onceβas a prankβdecided to pretend that the two of you were playing a prank on π°ππ«π«π’π¨π«π¬. it was easily one of the most entertaining things the two of you had done.
it started out with suspicious staresβeyes lingering a little too long on him, and lips a little too upturned to be considered normal. the captain raised a questioning eyebrow, and the two of you looked away too quickly, π°π’π§π'π¬ chest ever so slightly shaking with laughter.
and then the giggles started. you'd look at π°ππ«π«π’π¨π«π¬ briefly and then back at π°π’π§π, and the two of you would break into a small fit of laughter. it was enough to peak the others' curiosity, but neither of you said anything.
after all, there wasn't anything to come forward about.
π°π’π§π suggested that you both started fixating your gazes on his scarf a bit, pretending like it was somehow related. π°ππ«π«π’π¨π«π¬ took it off and looked it over twice trying to see if there was something wrong with it.
it did eventually get to the point where you and π°π’π§π couldn't even look at each other or the captain without laughing. every bit of strength had to be used to keep a straight-ish face when π°ππ«π«π’π¨π«π¬ looked at you.
he would've been a lot more annoyed if it wasn't for the fact that it was coming from their youngestβthe one he truly considered to be a little brother. and unfortunately, this was little siblings behavior.
π°ππ«π«π’π¨π«π¬ eventually tackled the sailor to the ground randomly, demanding answers from the hysterically laughing child, not letting him move until he relented. but you swooped in like the knight in shining armor he was supposed to be and pinned π°ππ«π«π’π¨π«π¬ to the ground, giving π°π’π§π enough time and room to get out.
"there's nothing wrong with you!" the sailor cackled, fleeing with you in tow. "nothing's going on at all!"
because, well, there was nothing going on.

i know he's short cause he's part minish (is that real or a hc?), but sometimes i look at him and i'm just like "you're a child. a baby. i am going to squish your cheeks and kiss your forehead"

a new trope that's not actually new, but just finally put into words that i really like:

anywho. what if Twilight shifting into wolf form came with consequences, ones that keep accumulating? but it's too good and useful not to use. they're never going to track down Dark Link without it
new canon Link in LU means all the aesthetics of the boys on a 3x3 grid will be disrupted cause thereβs now 10 of them lmao
random Four hc:
post picking up the Four sword and turning into "Four," Four starts acting a bit more like someone with adhd
he doesn't have four different voices in his head that are trying to guide him and giving different inputs. but he does have like a million (read: four) tabs open in his head that he can't exactly get a read on
his mind feels like it's buzzing, and it's occasionally hard to handle. sometimes he's able to work through it by focusing on certain things, doing math/work/puzzles, or imagining his head is actually quiet (idk that's what i do sometimes to help)
other times when it's too much, he resorts to using the sword to split. their minds aren't buzzing when they're like this. but they're also aware that it's not something they can always do (hard to explain to others why they're seeing four of the same Link)
and it's a bit of a frustrating problem bc the thing that solves the buzzing mind isn't something he can always do. and when he's split, they can't work together to try and help with the problem bc the buzzing is gone now
