Our Rookie Piece: where the newbies show off their moves

So excited to start posting our show videos from this past year. This was the introductory piece of the show, which centered around the mysterious murder of a guest at a dinner party. 

Getting back into the groove of things next Monday :)

This was probably one of the most fun photo shoots we have ever done! Can't wait for the new year to begin, with a new theme and hopefully just as many crazy outtakes :)

#6 You'll often see this petite dancer rock bright red lipstick with confidence, and there is nothing befitting her personality more! Unpredictable and naturally talented, Aarthi Ramesh dazzles with or without music. The poise with which this Pittsburgh junior carries herself is enviable. Trained in classical and experienced in folk, she's an incredible dancer who easily fuses tradition with modern elements to bring style and passion to each of her movements. The art within her illuminates all that she does, easily making her one of the most gifted people you know.

#8 There are very few dancers who can ease into any role they're given; Surbhi Agrawal is one of them. Hailing from Bethesda, Maryland, this pre-med junior is an understated powerhouse. Not only is her style of dance, from Bhangra to Hip-Hop and everything in between, an absolute joy to watch, but combined with the constant sense of responsibility and devotion to the team, they make her an irreplaceable fixture on PENNaach. She dances without complaints regardless of knee pains or time constraints, giving all that she can to her passion. Easily one of the friendliest people you'll meet, her radiance and compassion is absolutely infectious.
