These delightful Penguin Party Cookies are a perfect treat for a penguin-themed gathering. The combination of black and white chocolate chips brings out the penguin's iconic colors, while the cute candy eyes and orange icing beaks add a touch of whimsy. Kids and adults alike will love these charming cookies at your penguin-themed party!
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Black and white chocolate chips. Orange icing. Candy eyes.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. Fold in black and white chocolate chips to resemble penguin colors. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball slightly with the back of a spoon. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once the cookies are completely cool, use orange icing to create penguin beaks and attach candy eyes. Let the icing set before serving the adorable penguin cookies!
