I am delighted to finally reveal the pendulum cloths I’ve been working on for the shop opening on Friday! Each cardinal direction is encapsulated within a bloom of Yarrow, an herb synonymous with aiding in psychic development and divination. Radiesthesia, or the art of dowsing, involves the engagement of our higher faculties of subconscious and intuition to divine information from universal energies. The most common tool for dowsing today is the pendulum, however, in much older times, a dowsing rod was used to locate underground springs and precious metals. The pendulum is used today to glean informational energy from ourselves, other people, objects, and places, as well as much more. The human body has the ability to be the most well calibrated “machine” at our disposal. With practice and exercise of the mind, a programmed pendulum amplifies signals that our nervous system picks up and we are able to interpret the information based on codes set up between our conscious and subconscious minds. My aim in creating these special pendulum cloths was to encourage psychic development and evolve my signature altar cloths even deeper into the realm where art meets function.
