Sure do! I usually start with a human-ish shape then extend the toes into a dragony shape. Knowing the basics helps when you want to make something new:

A lot of times you can get away with just drawing the basic shape and some nonsense lines to mimic muscles/tendons and it’ll look good!

If you want to know more about how legs work on the inside I’d suggest looking at the legs of emu, ostrich, big cats, deer, and horses. Emu and ostrich legs will give you a look at that scalie/fleshy toe texture. The tendons in big cat paws are very dramatic and have that perfect little M shape to their toes because of their retractable claws. Looking at the leg bones of horses and deer, especially the hind legs, will help you better understand how digitigrade(”backwards” bending) legs work.

You're just relaxing at your desk, doodling robot parts, when the magic hits you. Your legs tingle and twitch slightly, drawing your attention downward. You glance down to see white fur crawling slowly up your legs from your feet towards your thigh. You check your calendar, ensuring that no - it's not full moon right now! Your legs continue their itchy, twitchy, achy feeling as your heel pulls up and your ankle restructures, and you wiggle your toes as they develop little bean-pads and thick, dark claws poking out from the fur. The shift stops just above your knee, pale fur giving way to your normal tan skin. You feel like your tail might have fluffed up a bit to accommodate for this - your new paw-feet! You wheel back from your seat and flop on to your bed, kicking your cute new doggy legs up in the air and sticking them out reeeeaaaal far!
