speaking of which, I guess I’ll start blogging about my MCAT studying progress as I think that’s the most relevant thing I can actually talk about. 97 days.
I’m so sick of classes, I don’t know if I can do school anymore. I love research so much but classes are obliterating me right now. I love spending all day at lab playing with chemicals but going home and doing homework and sitting through lectures is my own personal nightmare. My mental health is in the toilet because of how behind in coursework I am, and I don’t know if I can do this anymore. The thought of those first 2 years of med school being almost entirely classes like how awful undergrad was is destroying me, and I don’t know if I can do that to myself again despite how much I want to be a physician.
Well if I get shit grades this term, I probably can’t get into med school anyway, so. This really is a deciding factor whether I like it or not.
i keep changing my timeline for applying to med school and i havent decided yet if im gonna apply summer 2023 or just take the mcat then apply 2024 but either way im dreading it and wanna put it off more but theres no more excuses once i finish my masters
i just constantly feel unprepared but i also feel my youth draining from my bones at the prospect of putting it off by working first
