im so intrigued by june! are there any traits she carries that come from you?
i would like to say first and foremost that work has been kicking my ass this week, and the fact that people keep stopping by to ask me about june has honestly been such an absolute delight 🥺
i'm trying to be normal and not to write an essay that's like 👁️👄👁️ june and i grew up together, but like. i've been writing her since i was 18, and there are so many reflections of that in her character.
i think in terms of her like actual personality traits, she doesn't like to be told what to do. we're kind of defiant in similar ways. she's got a lot of insecurity about her relationships in a way that's very symbolic of how i was feeling in college in a way that i couldn't possibly untangle from her character.
we also both have red hair because i wanted us to be hair twins. she shares my love of mysteries. she cries to florence and the machine just like me.
