Last Thursday, a gentleman came to one of my classes to do a presentation with my students. He did a warmup activity where he would show kids images and they were supposed to guess what words or saying they meant if combined. This one was eventually revealed to be “Vans Old School” like the sneakers. The first image was of three white vans + an old man 👴🏼 + a picture of a school . One of my students raised his hand and guessed “pedophile”.
