When he moves away from the streetcorner wall the shadow follows him, crowding at his feet. Stuck to the heel of his boot. Humming softly: the streetlights squirm against the asphalt so they don't have to illuminate his face.

I’m doing an event on Uzushi0 where people yeet one of their ships into the void and agree to write/art another ship, from that same void, for another person. It’s an exchange, see?

Writing for an event or someone else (provided it’s short, and these fics can be short, my friends. Very short. It’s fine. It’s all fine), so stuff like this is fun. Knowing your fill will go to someone and make their day? Fun

So far one (1) person has submitted a ship and no pressure, obviously-- but if you’re interested I encourage you to hop in! There’s lots of room! And it’ll be neater than shit.

Plus you get an entry into Uzushio’s bingo book and a shiny badge, pokemon style, and if you want to play in future events more badges but also no pressure???

For the Ghost Ship event-- the ship exchange, the Yeeting Unto The Void-- people can throw ships in until fuckin uhhhhh October 24th 2019. Me birthday, you see, and the week before spookaween. The actual writing time is until the end of November so all around plenty of time!

I’m just trying to get the word out and possibly encourage participation. If it pleases ye, I’m going to be one of the people writing for this so I could end up with your ship. You’ll also know the name of your person in advance so you can possibly @ them on anon re: any preferences.

That means someone would @ you on anon for your preferences, too! Or possibly stalk your ao3 bookmarks and try to surprise you. Who knows!
