Last night (close to 7.45pm) my mom and I heard this crashing noise. At first wasn't sure if aliens had landed (this is what happens after 8 hrs of watching epix original series War of the Worlds). So, like any horror movie starts the noise is investigated. Luckily, this is reality and not Hollywood - but hey, life is stranger than fiction. My pecan tree in the backyard decided a branch was too heavy and fell, gently fainting like on my roof. Here's the yin and yang - I'm unemployed and can't really afford to get it taken care of, but luckily I have a metal roof that held up. And, my neighbor heard the crash and came to my rescue helping to break down the branch into smaller pieces.
