If Peat and Spore had kits, it would make the dynamic more interesting because
Peat and Lani are friends, and Lani is a good babysitter so she will likely interact with the kits a bit (Spore would welcome it too because he misses her and wants to be close with her again so he would view her watching the kits as them reconnecting). The kits would end up really liking her and would refer to her as their aunty
Lani loves the kits too, is best friends with one of their dads, and despises the other dad who also happens to be her former mate and would-be-killer
Snowbrook isn't fond of kits but would tolerate them for Lani's sake. And because she's a hater and spiteful bitch (affectionate) she would be extra caring just to rub it in Sporeglade's face. "Oh, your dad is too tired to play? Well I'll play with you little ones, I always have time for you."
Snowbrook's antics of course cause her to actually bond with the kits. She still doesn't like kits and is still iffy around them, but views these ones as an exception.
So while the kits are treated well by all the adults, the adults have very complicated feelings and history with each other
