Everyone had been talking about it. Very many people in the base thought Rogue wasn’t performing very well in her fights, even though she had helped others without anyone else noticing. She always came back bloody and hurt with the smell of gunpowder wafting around her but even then, they thought that was just from carelessness in fights. Everyone whispered as she walked by them. She tried to remain strong and gave them a sharp glare if they were to try and whisper about her but she soon went to her room. She had been able to manage some injuries on her body herself but some still remained, especially on her hands or other places that she moved often. She used her hands often so the wounds on her hands were the worst and just kept opening up. She looked blankly at the inside of her hands before setting her face in them and silently crying. The saline from her tears stung in the wounds but she didn’t care, she was too upset to care.
