Wait, Peakits are still a closed species?
They are not anymore.
The owner/creator of the species decided to change it into an open species due to the hassles that come with owning a closed species.

Gonna leave here my appreciation for the latest peakits that have been made. i love this ref layout that the owner designed. Unlike others who want 1k for an unshaded sketch, this is well worth the money for a adoption~

Character redesign! I turned my oc Fid from a Korpis into a peakit and did some slight changes (mainly his mechanic arm and some markings on his face)
I do truly adore his design but Iβm not very connected with him.

1/2 (peakits) not defending IP theft but free fangames are a bit different since they could affect official game sales, that's why nintendo cracks down on them. dont think they will go after fan designs based on their charas unless peakits gets huge though. the real worry imo is allowing "big name" IP theft is like a gateway to "small name" IP theft. in those screenies, li0nez said they wont care if someone steals their character norman
2/2 (peakits) but if someone tried to make a norman-based MYO peakit, then, using the "IP theft is okay if it's not for profit" logic the community and li0nez has, then the norman peakit should get approved with zero issue. we all know that person would instead get banned tho, since it's always okay to steal unless it affects YOU. the double standard would be revealed so fast, I hope someone gives it a shot lmao. maybe that example would help explain the "point" they don't seem to understand
