Hunting for his mates had grown surprisingly easy over the years. Once upon a time he would have had to stalk and fight them; drag them home. Now all he had to do was sit and look pretty, perhaps smile once or twice. Still, a flash of color caught his eye as he pretended to eat whatever snack food he’d been offered by some altogether unattractive women sitting a few tables away.
He did not normally chose men to carry for him, as females were more biologically suited to the task; however he’d not met an avian before. At worst it would be a fun diversion even if his clutch was not viable; and at best perhaps a new breed or young. Unlikely, but he was nothing if not imaginative. He stood, and approached the man with the eye catching plumage with a sly smile.
“Excuse me, but I haven’t been able to take my eyes off of you since I first saw you.” Get him to drop his guard, entice him to leave town... Though the look in this one’s eye told him it may not be so easy. “My name is Runa, and I’d hoped I could talk you into hearing out a proposition. Say, over a few drinks?”
