This Fresh Peach Trifle is a delightful mix of ripe peaches, angel food cake, and a luscious yogurt-cream mixture. The layers create a perfect balance of sweetness and freshness, making it an ideal summer dessert.
Ingredients: 4 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced. 1/2 cup sugar. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/4 cup powdered sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup Greek yogurt. 1 package 10 ounces angel food cake, cut into cubes. 1/2 cup raspberry jam. Fresh mint leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Put peaches, sugar, and lemon juice in a bowl and mix them together. Mix it up, then set it aside for 15 minutes to get soft. Mix the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream in a different bowl. Whip them together until stiff peaks form. Fold the Greek yogurt into the whipped cream mixture slowly until it is well mixed. Put angel food cake cubes, the peach mixture, and the yogurt-cream mixture in serving glasses or a trifle dish. Add more layers, and then put a dollop of the yogurt-cream mixture on top to finish. Put raspberry jam in the microwave for 20 seconds to warm it up, then pour it over the trifle. Add some fresh mint leaves as a garnish. Put it in the fridge for at least two hours before serving so the flavors can mix. Enjoy! Serve cold.
