"butbutbut!" peach exclaimed, gently prodding her with her finger, "you could be ruining a perfectly good friendship in order to make a super awesome relationship. isn't that totally win-win?"

"morning!" of course peach is all sunshine and smiles even so early in the day; highly caffeinated from a green tea and ready for the day. her makeup kit is already laid out in her preferred fashion and now that they're here, she makes her way over to the sink to begin washing up her hands. nothing worse than being in someone's personal space and touching their skin without it. "i picked up a coffee for you, if you want it," she points out, glad that she has the excuse of focusing to avoid looking at them. she's sure they have assistants for that sort of thing. "just because of the early start and all."

“on a... scale of one to ten... ten being that’s cool and one being we should just pretend this was a joke and i never asked  — what are the chances of us going on a non-you-losing-a-game-and-owing-me date?” 

"hey... you! i remember you." it probably isn't very polite to shout something like that across the aisle of the grocery store but in her excitement, peach doesn't particularly care. she abandons trying to decide which cereal she wants to pick up in favour of making her way towards them. "from uh... was it sydney's party?"

“i don’t know. shut up. i’m not blushing, you are.” 

“what do you think?” as a makeup artist, peach was extremely confident in her work, but she figured her own opinion didn’t matter much here. “pretty, right?”

“is it serious between the two of you?” peach’s voice stayed low, her eyes never quite meeting their gaze. it’s a question she knew that she’d probably regret asking but she had to know. it was ruining her not knowing. “i just... i just need to know so that i can...” can move on? is that what she really wanted to say when she knew that wouldn’t be the reality? “well. is it?”

after pretty suddenly planting a kiss on their lips, peach pulled back with a bright smile and subtly tilted her head backwards. “look behind me. tall. brown hair. blue shirt with the white stripes. are we being watched?” the smile on her lips indicated that she hoped that was the case but she definitely couldn’t turn around to check by herself.
