Cherkasy is a city situated on the right bank of the Dnipro River. The Kremenchuk reservoir is absolutely massive, stretching around my city for approximately 15 km in width. Hence, it's no surprise that there's an abundance of avid anglers in this town. This pastime is tremendously popular among the locals all year round, and nearly every day, you'll find someone standing by the pier or on the beach, trying to catch something or simply unwinding, gazing upon the serene waters. I myself hold a keen interest in this activity, which is why it brought me immense joy to capture my colleagues in a painting.

I am having one of those days where I’m quietly enamored with peace. I think about all the stories and things she’s seen and experienced and I count it all joy. I vow to let this little one live joyously in me within the context of fullness, past the abandonment, past mistakes and shame. She’s dancing in the sun and the rain and is excited about what she gets to create next. I’m sitting at brunch in an amazing restaurant (@fieldandtides) which looks like a little house and I feel right at home here and in the space of my body. I’m grateful to be here, right now. Aligned for purpose to just have its way, within me. Nothing missing. Nothing broken. Just peace and plenty thanks.
