Over the years we have been able to make some incredible friends and Mitch of Peace Arrow is one of them. We don't get to see each other much but this weekend we shared a special time at Microfest in St Augustine. It has been great to see Mitch grow and you can see it as he plays "Broken Bridge" from his latest release ↑↓↑↓. 

Connecting with the music Mitch makes has always been something easy.  He beautifully creates layered textures out of nature sounds and organic textures while sampling instruments like acoustic guitar and banjo. Pair that with a very honost and truthful lyrical presence and you are taken to a mystical place where he hopes to grow.

As "Broken Bridge" closes out, a plea is presented. We often hold on so strongly to what we once were. We become comfortable and need those things that make us comfortable even when they are not healthy for us. That feeling of wanting to rid ourselves of the unhealthy comfortability weighs heavy on us. We can't do it alone and we need help. We have to ask for help. We have to be told to ask for help sometimes. I hope we all choose to listen. And we are grateful to be reminded of that by this song.
