Painting l did in 2018.
Petlyakov Pe-8, the only 4-engine heavy-bomber built by the Russians during WW2. Fewer than 100 were built but the type flew combat sorties between Aug 1941 through to the spring of 1944. Losses to mechanical failure outnumbered those to enemy fire.

Pe-8 from above after an encounter with enemy interceptors. Those pesky things. When you are flying the Pe-8, try to gang up with other Pe-8′s, seriously. Their defensive fire is effective all by itself, but the wall of fire a lone hunter meets when following up two Pe-8 is enough to bring him down before he has much opportunity to hurt you.
