Windows 8 Custom Refresh Project
Hello all,
This is my first creation for Windows 8
It will create a folder in C:/Custom_Refresh then create a subfolder and label it the current date. This way you can keep progressive copies of your PC refresh images. I personally always like to keep a failsafe image around cause often the image I'm creating contains the bug that I'm trying to resolve. If that's the case I have another to roll back to. This was invaluable when determining what was causing my Windows 8 to keep crashing and not boot back into system. Turned out to be a non compatible Bluetooth adapter driver. I never would have found that out without being able to incrementally pick up where I left off.
This will create an image that saves all of your user installed apps and settings
This will not however save your Metro apps or settings. Simply logging into your Microsoft account will restore those.
I have tested this on both 32bit and 64bit systems
