Happy Birthday @pc-doodle !

I’m about to play it tonight and honestly my anxiety is at an all time high :( my hands are cold and shaky and I feel kinda ill. I know that’s kinda dumb but I just... I really don’t like unexplained things dropped on me. I’m so scared the Thing I Like is going to change in some way and I just feel uncomfortable and ungrounded. I don’t like this. I’m gonna play it but it’s making me feel Bad(tm) because I care too much about video games. I’m also just staying off tumblr because.... because.

i kinda wish i hadn’t played it at all because i was just a little nervous before, but afterwards i got CRAZY ANXIOUS. and the unexplainedness of it all is probably the biggest reason for my anxiety, just not knowing what the heck this all IS. like is it an AU/what if scenario, or some kind of simulation within the game world (made by, say, gaster), or is it canon or what? i don’t want undertale itself to change, so the possibility of that is making my anxiety go absolutely wild.

I essentially got to the... secret fight before I guess going to the final boss?? Not sure how far I was from him at that point... But I just couldn't win the secretness because I suck at dodging and there is no special armor to save me this time. I ended up stopping because I have a massive headache now, but I'm really curious what happens.

i got to the secret fight too, but was unable to beat him. i did only try two or three times, but it just felt impossible to me - i’m not very good at dodging, plus his attacks are really fast and the area for dodging is pretty limited, plus his attacks do crazy damage. i didn’t have enough defense and good healing items, so i felt like i wasn’t coming even close to beating him. i just hope getting to him and then not actually beating him didn’t affect my game/ending negatively.

I feel the same as Thefloatingstone. And from what I saw... forgive me for Speaking About It--but it just is either an anime filler arc essentially, an unneeded sequel no one asked for (Teen Titans GO), or a Sans and Papyrus origin that the fandom already collectively figured out years ago. Either way, thinking about it makes me feel sick too and I just wish he had kept it at Undertale.

i don’t know what it is, and that’s what’s making me the most anxious. it doesn’t seem to be a straight origin story or a filler, because too many things are “off”, so i’m just hoping it’s some kind of a simulation within the game and doesn’t actually affect the undertale canon.
