hypothetical question regarding the dear OG transplant- I'd imagine that at some point in the future we'll have completed a goal/reached a point where our Patron asks us what we want as a reward or asks us what we would want in the future is a reward (heavily doubt this would be in the game but im talkin more In The World/In The Future) What would their response be to a PB that wants the OG to have a life again? Not, yknow, their life anymore since I think we still kinda need that but set them up somewhere else in the world, give them the 2nd chance that Hightower was supposed to be?

I love thinking about this haha. To me, the Original Transplant is sort of this negative space at Antioch and Hightower; this person whose absence is as important as their presence would have been (not least because of who came in to fill their stolen shoes...)
Maybe once Pactbinder is finished, I'll talk a bit about the 'original timeline' and how I imagine this year at Hightower would have gone with them and without the Pactbinder...

Is it really possible for someone to have a doppelganger? In history yes, but in a fiction story... I'm not sure. My gut tells me that the fact that we look almost exactly alike means SOMETHING.
What if the transplant is our long lost twin... what if we both did naturally have the gift but now we have the gift + the pact but instead of the pact giving us this power it was just us having absorbed our twin's powers like sometimes a twin will get absorbed in the womb--
and I noticed that we can choose to have a similar motive as the og transplant ("you would do anything to extricate urself from the filth" vs "seeing the hightower as a ticket to a better life" or something forgive my paraphrase) WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???
sure it could be commentary on the nature of humanity, being willing to step on others who are in the exact same circumstances as yourself in order for a hint of a chance at a better life but it maybe might be... a plot hint? idk
Or what if we are the actual transplant, but mentally magicked and "killing someone who looks exactly like you as a sacrifice" is just to trick us to consenting to use our body as the vessel for this ancient probably evil being?????
