IIRC someone here submitted an ask worried about the chef cat's wheelchair setup and after looking at it for a while I think the chair functions the same way that a walker chair does. In the sense that in the artwork the cat is resting in a stationary sitting position with the brake on the wheel. Which frees up their front paws to use for cooking. When the cat is ready to move they can put their front paws on the ground and the wheelchair will function the same way that IRL cat wheelchairs work. That's my interpretation at least.

cannot for the life of me figure out how the cooking cat uses the wheelchair. it looks so uncomfortable and impractical?? why is it sitting on a thin metal bar but with one leg on a sling? id imagine that it uses its front paws to navigate but if it were to lean forward id fall over? but you also cant use the wheels because bc they have no stability (and doesnt have a push ring). i can also imagine the tail constantly getting run over bc its super long. overall a weird and upsetting design
