Mac’s suit allowed him to easily scale buildings and cling to walls affording him several key vantage points when scoping out a new job. Poison was his expertise, but if his time as a PI had taught him anything, it was that information always promised the biggest payouts, and that building was full of sweet, juicy information. He’d been deciding where best to hit the place from when his suit display spotted a figure fleeing from a third floor window and down a fire escape. 

Interesting.

With a smirk, he changed tactics and followed the figure down several alleyways until they stopped. Like any ambush predator he crept closer, on all fours clinging to the wall above the figure. “Just what did you help yourself too, hmm?” he asked when he was only a few feet above them, his suit’s tail arched dangerously over his back. 

There were some parts of NOVA’s operation she found less than savoury but orders were orders and she would follow all through to the letter. Mr. Black deserved a prison cell but his actions had demonstrated significant technical ability. So, NOVA’s heads had chosen to capitalise upon them in a more clandestine manner to add another skill to their roster.

Chou did not care for people sticking their noses into his business. As a rule he had enforcers such as Akihiro to deal with any kinds of pests but it seemed one had made a habit of stopping and scooping out his deliveries on more than one occasion. So, loathe as he was to risk revealing himself, it seemed he had little in the way of choice. He donned his ninja-yoroi and white mask decorated with minimalist red swirls to resemble a butterfly and waited atop his building to see if his visitor would return.

As his people moved about he spotted a dark figure sneak past and into the main building. He slipped inside himself and his powers began to work, a faint bell rang in the distance and a few butterflies drifted into the space as he moved, silent and unhurried towards the uninvited guest. “It is most rude to enter a person’s workplace without permission.” The voice itself was an illusion, coming out in a much lower pitch than his own soft voice. 

Jihl constantly seemed to be sneaking around these days and it was one more thing that rubbed her the wrong way. She was a soldier, she should’ve been walking with her head high, not ducking round corners in a beat-up hoodie trying to hide herself. But, NOVA weren’t welcome in this lawless city. And, more pressingly, Jihl wasn’t certain if NOVA had plans to change that,
