I have a deaf blue heeler I've had for about year now got her as a puppy, and I taught her some sign language to train her, but she does things I would never expect a deaf dog would do. Like she barks and growls and makes all sorts of sounds when playing with her sister a rat of a dog thats a jack Russell terrier mix.
I see the questions sometimes as to how dogs think, see and hear the world around them and their perception as a humans best friend.
So I always wonder what my deaf dog thinks when she was born without one of her most valuable senses as a dog.
Because we have the input of people that are deaf either from birth or scarlet fever to other forms that may have caused it. I just wonder if its the same just in you know in doggy form?
