There is so much care and softness in the way Parvati and Lavender interact in this, the way they love and want each other, even before they ever admit it to themselves and to each other. I love the little details we get about them, their lives and their families, and the way this feels like a much bigger story than anyone could ever fit in 4k. It honestly steals my heart with every reread.

LAVENDER WOULD NOT DIE. I actually consider Lavender's death movie canon only since its left ambigious. if jkr has said anything to the contary I dont wanna know and I dont care.Its also plot relevant bc I feel like while parvati is chill w being pan, lesbian lavender is v v Very selfconscious about her sexuality, to the point where even after she and pav got together at the end of 6th year, she wants to keep it private. its not anyone elses business and it feels like protection bc theres already this huge death campaign going on for ppl who dont fit a certain demographic.But after the battle of hogwarts...shes ALIVE. and shes lost so much. and shes now marked as an other anyway, theres no hiding it, shes scarred physically and emotionally, so like, fuck it, she is a war hero and more than that shes lavender brown, who loves parvati patil, and theyre going to make out in the rubble of the place they fell in love, because they deserve to, and its the only way to rebuild the world.
