Today’s @calm #meditation was about #pausepractice. The technique goes like this: start by breathing normally. Take a moment to experience the pause between inhale and exhale. Do that for a few breaths. 🌬 Next, use that same technique to notice the pause between thoughts. How does it make you feel to have a clear mind? And don’t try to figure out the emotion, just experience it momentarily and let it go. Don’t try not to think...just empty the head as you need to. 💭 Doing three breaths like this at various times during the day will lower stress, make you more relaxed, and just help you get through the day more comfortably. Don’t hate that you can’t keep thoughts out, just accept that you’ll get better as you keep trying.
