Today’s #dailycalm session was all about #grounding. This is something I don’t do enough of, and need to come up with ways to do it more. 🦶 Yet another way that the modern world is failing our health is the shoe. And while I spend a lot of time talking about things like zero drop heels, and send soles for your shoes, sometimes even I wear shoes too often. It’s good for us to get outside and just let our feet touch the grass and dirt. Our bodies expect to be in touch with the natural energy of the earth. Magnetism and natural electricity are just two of those. And there are increasingly more studies about how such grounding helps with stress, PTSD, sleep efficacy, and a ton more. 🌳🌱 So today, make an effort to get outside barefoot and stand in the grass or dirt. See how you feel. Make a practice out of it-take a few minutes each day for a couple weeks to just be outside barefoot. See if you don’t feel better about the world in that time.
