Lemmy from Motörhead speculates on why his son was named after Paul McCartney, even though his mother dated John Lennon
In a 2010 documentary, Motörhead's Lemmy and his son Paul discuss what they know about Paul's mother Tracy and her relationship with The Beatles.
In a 2009 interview, Patricia ("Tracy") Inder spoke to the daily mail, confirming her friendship with the band back in Liverpool, and that she was indeed interested in Paul but lost her virginity to John. She recounts how John seduced her and they had a brief affair whilst he was still with Cynthia. 'Hello Little Girl' was apparently written for her. Patricia fell madly in love, but the affair ended after John and Cynthia got married. (It was Paul who took Patricia aside to tell her John was married and expecting.)
In the mid-1960s she met Lemmy - then still playing with The Rockin' Vickers - and became pregnant with his son, whom she named Paul and raised single-handedly. She managed to reconnect her son with his father when he was six years old and the two went on to play music together. Patricia herself recorded and performed some rock and roll material.
